RBS Projects, in conjunction with the Technion’s Division of Continuing Education, holds a preparation course for PMP® certification on behalf of the global project management umbrella organization, the PMI.
The studies take place at the Technion’s Haifa campus and the campus in Sarona, Tel Aviv.
This course provides the knowledge and tools required for project management and is intended for project managers (novices and experienced) and others.
During the course, the participants study for the PMP® exam and practice sample questions. The PMI® currently has a membership of nearly one million project managers from all over the world. PMP® certification is required in order to maintain a professional level of project management and to define professional project managers who possess all the knowledge and tools necessary to lead a project to success.
What do you learn in the PMP® course?
The course is taught by senior project managers from RBS Projects, who so far have trained some 20,000 project managers in Israel.
The course at the Technion prepares participants for the PMP® certification exam. This is a difficult test, which contains 200 multiple-choice questions, takes 4 hours and is offered in 10 different languages. The “Advanced Methodologies and Preparation for PMP® Certification” course covers the following topics:
- Practical tools for project management
- Glossary of concepts and terms from the project management world
- Simulations and scenarios from the project management world: case studies & real life scenarios
- Management tools required of every project manager
- Personal skills required of project managers
- Understanding project objectives, goals and critical factors for success.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in project management
- Existing mechanism for project management assistance (PMIS) and its smart application
- Tools for integrating the organization’s strategy into projects
- Preparation for the PMP® certification exam
PMP®-certified project managers earn 10% more.
The PMP® certification exam is not required by law, but has become a determining criterion in the hierarchy of project management qualification.
The certification is accepted by many companies and has become and a trademark of professionalism.
Every project manager needs to keep up to date with professional materials, which are acquired in the courses held by RBS Projects in conjunction with the Technion.
